Campaign provides documents disputing accuracy of report
Democrat Activist Outlet The Daily Beast recently reported a false story about Joe Kent’s employer not existing when, in fact, they were confused about the name of Joe’s employer.
Here are the details provided by the Joe Kent Campaign:
- Joe has worked for AES since August of 2019. When Joe was hired by the firm, it was named “American Enterprise Solutions, LLC.” It has since been renamed “Advanced Enterprise Solutions LLC.” (Kent’s W-2s were made available by the Joe Kent Campaign.)
- Joe’s disclosure to the House Ethics Committee has been amended to reflect the current name of the firm.
- The firm collects research/intelligence throughout the world on cellular infrastructure which is then sold to telecommunication firms who are pursuing contracts to upgrades that infrastructure, most recently involving the transition to 5G technology.
- Joe’s job as a project manager is to hire and oversee contractors around the world who conduct the research on the ground and then to validate that research with AES engineers and turn it into a marketable product.
- The firm switched to 100% remote work in 2020 after COVID. The firm is headquartered in Herndon, VA, VA and the CEO is Sean Reed. The firm has referred questions to counsel, who made the statement and has contact information below.
The Joe Kent Campaign stated, “remarkable about this story is the media’s insatiable appetite to report on a Daily Beast article that got Joe’s employers name wrong following a fully documentable career of twenty years in the military, all while ignoring our opponent getting fired from a taxpayer funded job over mistreatment of volunteers and botching tax documents has received no attention from this same media.’’
Statement from AES counsel
“Joe Kent is employed by a US company, which does not wish to be identified, only because while their employees are free as individuals to participate in politics, they as a company do not. They fully support his patriotic pursuit of civil service as they do for all citizens regardless of political affiliation. We confirmed Kent’s employment with this company’s outside counsel.”

Then there are the conflicting public records concerning the candidates real name, marital status, and being registered to vote in both WA and OR for years. (Reportedly Perez cancelled her OR voter registration Oct. 11, 2022) See
What is Congressional candidate’s actual name?
PS. This letter to the editor is about Perez getting both OR and WA ballots in 2022.

Does anyone take the Daily Beast seriously? It is the Daily Beast after all. I wouldn’t consider the NY Times or the Los Angeles Times much of a decent source either. Or the Columbian. Oh heck.. none of them…
Well, he admitted the article was right in that American Enterprises does not exist. And the address for the Milford, DE location looks like a low rent legal office. It does not look like a place of an employer (or agent of an employer) that is engaged in international contracting that can pay employees over 100k per year. Who is Joe Kent? Who pays him and what does he do for it?
What should a building housing a tech company, where its employees work remotely and internationally, look like exactly?
This fish wrapper either outright lied or can’t do “journalism” very well.
