
Event will feature newly announced Attorney General candidate Pete Serrano and Tracy Tribbett
The Clark County Republican Women’s Club is holding a dinner event on Jan. 18, where two legal expert keynotes, Tracy Tribbet, J.D., of the Pacific Justice Institute, and Pete Serrano, General Counsel and co-founder of the Silent Majority Foundation, will address the aggressive use of lawfare against citizens of Washington. During the event, both attorneys will provide insights on key cases they have worked on.
On January 1, 2024, Pete Serrano announced his candidacy to run for Washington State Attorney General. He will compete against Manka Dhingra, a King County Democratic politician known for her anti police stance. Dhingra serves as a WA State Senator in the 45th Legislative District and has been responsible for blocking changes to the state’s police pursuit law. Ironically, she is also an assistant prosecutor in King County and has a record of leniency on crime. Serrano is running to replace the current Attorney General, Bob Ferguson, who is running for governor in Washington.
“The timing of Mr. Serrano’s announcement is significant for CCRW’s “Justice Speaks” dinner program which was planned months ago,” said Liz Cline, the President of CCRW. “It is exciting that this will be his first 2024 speaking appearance in Clark County as a newly announced AG candidate.”
Cline further said, “Since ‘Let’s Go Washington’ has successfully submitted six initiatives to reverse bad laws passed due to Democrat single-party rule, a constitutionally conservative attorney general would put Washington State on a path to correct the state’s current course of decline into lawlessness. Serrano has a record of defending citizens’ rights and is passionate about upholding the rule of law, making him a superb AG candidate and keynote co-speaker for our gathering on January 18th.”
The Executive Board of Clark County Republican Women invites CCRW Club members and residents of Clark County and neighboring Skamania and Cowlitz Counties to attend this meeting. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to fight back against lawfare and hear from and meet these fine attorneys.
Advance registration is required and can be made at the CCRW website. The dinner meeting will be held at the Battle Ground Community Center on January 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.
