VANCOUVER — The Clark County League of Women Voters will present a nonpartisan training session March 8 for people interested in running for local office.
Participants can take an assessment about their eligibility for an office and learn the basics of filing to run. Local elected officials will share the benefits and pitfalls of holding office.
“You Can Run for Office!” will be from 9 a.m.-noon at CDM Caregiving Services, 2300 NE Andresen Rd. Registration is required by March 3, with a $10 registration fee. More information and a registration link can be found at lwvclarkcounty.org.
