
The pedestrian victim was declared deceased at the scene by EMS; the driver of the involved vehicle is cooperating with the investigation
On Friday (Oct. 20) at 6:39 a.m., a suspicious circumstance was reported to 9-1-1 of a man down on the sidewalk at the 8200 block of NE St. Johns Rd. Medics arrived prior to law enforcement and stated CPR was in progress, and the subject appeared to be a victim of a possible vehicle collision.
Patrol deputies located an involved driver and vehicle close by the incident and confirmed a collision with a pedestrian had occurred.
The pedestrian victim was declared deceased at the scene by EMS. The driver of the involved vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
NE St. Johns Rd. was closed to north and south bound traffic from NE 78th St. to NE 88th St. for the investigation of the collision. The incident is being investigated by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
