Boosting your immune system good for all colds, virus and flu this winter

New report of 71 studies show positive impact of ivermectin as part of COVID-19 treatment.

New report of 71 studies show positive impact of ivermectin as part of COVID-19 treatment

The COVID-19 pandemic has led many people to learn more about their health, preexisting conditions, viral infections, and the healthcare system. They have learned about the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) authority with regards to drugs and treatments for various ailments including the coronavirus. They have also experienced various levels of government responding very differently in how they deal with the outbreak of this version of the SARS CoV-2.

At the core of all these issues is the body’s immune system, which regularly works to protect people. The immune system is a complex network of cells and proteins that defends the body against infection. The immune system keeps a record of every germ (microbe) it has ever defeated so it can recognise and destroy the microbe quickly if it enters the body again.

A new compilation of 71 studies with over 50,000 patients, shows the positive attributes of using the repurposed drug ivermectin. It has been safely used roughly 4 billion times, successfully fighting river blindness and other ailments around the world. The meta analysis using the most serious outcome shows 66 percent improvement with early treatment of COVID and 83 percent improvement when used as a prophylaxis against the COVID coronavirus.

The winter cold and flu season is now upon us, adding to people’s health concerns. Boosting your immune system and giving it the tools it needs to keep you healthy is at the core of the current pandemic health discussions.

Respiratory infections, including influenza, the COVID-19 virus and particularly pneumonia are a leading cause of death in people over 65 worldwide.

Most flu and viral sickness enter the body through your air passageways. The FLCCC Alliance recommends not only masks to reduce the chances of COVID-19 and other viral particles entering your body, but also gargling twice daily to cleanse your mouth. Other professionals suggest nasal irrigation if you have a cold or believe you might be infected. Graphic courtesy FLCCC Alliance

On the whole, your immune system does a remarkable job of defending you against disease-causing microorganisms. But sometimes it fails: a germ invades successfully and makes you sick. Is it possible to intervene in this process and boost your immune system? What if you improve your diet? How about taking certain vitamins or herbal preparations? Can you make other lifestyle changes in the hope of producing a near-perfect immune response?

The Frontline COVID Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) is a group of healthcare professionals dedicated to fighting the SARS-Cov-2 virus and all its variants. They emerged seeking to use existing treatments in the care of their patients. They found certain treatments were successful in either preventing COVID sickness, or reducing the severity of the symptoms and duration of illness.

The FLCCC’s I-MASK+ protocol provides a wide range of ways to build your immune system as well as protecting yourself from COVID-19.

“These are all of the compounds, which have shown efficacy in the treatment of COVID-19,” said Dr. Pierre Kory at a November COVID-19 Summit in Florida. “Do you see the sheer number of trials and studies and compounds that have shown efficacy?”

The FLCCC Alliance is not opposed to vaccination, and furthermore supports policies such as mask wearing, social distancing, and hand hygiene to prevent the further spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Our treatment proposals are designed, first of all, to mitigate the effects of the pandemic until it is overcome, and to allow for an earlier return to daily life.

The Omicron variant of the virus has more than 30 mutations. The current three FDA-approved vaccines offer uncertain levels of protection against this new variant, as breakthrough cases continue to rise in vaccinated people. This week, the FDA essentially stopped recommending the Johnson & Johnson vaccination due to serious side effects on a small but growing number of people. Therefore boosting your immune system becomes even more important.

The FLCCC clinicians are driven by their desire to save lives.  They continually update their protocols based on clinical observations as well as the best studies of modes of prevention and treatment therapies for COVID-19.

The I-MASK+ Protocol is physiologic-based combination of treatment regimens developed by leaders in critical care medicine. All component medicines are FDA-approved, inexpensive, readily available and have been used for decades with well-established safety profiles. In October 2020, they added ivermectin as a core medication in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

The FLCCC Alliance recommends boosting your immune system using several vitamins, minerals, and treatments. They have also found the weekly use of ivermectin offers both protection from getting sick from the coronavirus, but also aids in the recovery if you should get COVID sickness. They regularly update their protocols based upon their observations in caring for COVID patients. Graphic courtesy FLCCC Alliance

Their immune boosting protocols and supportive therapy focuses on five treatments. Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Quercetin, Zinc, and melatonin.

  • Vitamin D3 1,000–3,000 IU/day
  • Vitamin C 500–1,000mg 2 x daily
  • Quercetin 250 mg/day
  • Zinc 30–40 mg/day (elemental zinc)
  • Melatonin 6 mg before bedtime (causes drowsiness)

Their viral protection protocols are taking ivermectin twice weekly, and gargling with antiseptic mouthwash twice a day.

lvermectin

  • Chronic Prevention – 0.2 mg/kg per dose (take with or after a meal) — twice a week for as long as disease risk is elevated in your community.
  • Post COVID-19 Exposure Prevention – 0.4 mg/kg per dose (take with or after a meal) — one dose today, repeat after 48 hours.

Gargle mouthwash – 2 x daily – gargle (do not swallow) antiseptic mouthwash with cetylpyridinium chloride (e.g. ScopeTM, ActTM, CrestTM), 1 percent povidone/iodine solution or ListerineTM with essential oils.

Alternatively, they suggest Nigella Sativa (black cumin seed) at 40mg/kg daily, can be used if ivermectin is not available or added to ivermectin for optimal prevention.

Vitamin D appears to be one of many important components impacting your immune system. Many studies and healthcare professionals strongly recommend increasing the vitamin D in your system, especially as people remain indoors and get less sun exposure during the winter..

The quercetin appears to inhibit the SARS-CoV-2 virus from binding with the spike protein, which is how COVID-19 invades your body and spreads sickness.

Quercetin, a flavonoid with an excellent safety profile, has powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antiviral properties. It can potentially help in the early stage of SARS-CoV-2 viral infection to prevent disease development and progression. Its excellent safety profile allows widespread use in the early phase of the disease or when it is suspected, starting even before a confirmatory nasal swab is obtained. Quercetin acts as a free radical scavenger, and both in vitro and in vivo studies showed quercetin as a potent antioxidant.

There are some relevant cautions regarding quercetin. Due to a possible drug interaction between quercetin and ivermectin these drugs should be staggered (take one in the morning and one at night). Patients taking cyclosporin or tacrolimus should avoid quercetin. And for anyone with pre-existing thyroid disease or thyroidism, the lowest dose of quercetin should be used when taken as a preventative.

People who took zinc had symptoms go away about two days sooner, (compared to placebo), reports one recent study mentioned by Harvard Health. The estimated effect in preventing infection was modest: about one infection was prevented for every 20 people using zinc. More importantly, there was an 87 percent lower risk of severe symptoms among those taking zinc.

An Aug 2020 article in Women’s Health affirmed the melatonin recommendation:

“Melatonin is a special kind of ‘clean’ antioxidant, meaning that it’s able to protect cells without triggering production of free radicals. This appears to be important for immune cells, including phagocyte cells. Think of phagocyte immune cells as little Pac Men traveling through your bloodstream gobbling up pathogens. Studies show that melatonin helps to optimize phagocyte action.

“Children, who are much less likely to have severe COVID-19 symptoms, have as much as 10 times the amount of natural melatonin production as older adults. Now, there are also other factors that give children healthier immune function, but this may go a long way toward explaining why youth is so protective when it comes to coronavirus risk.”

Besides boosting your immune system, the FLCCC supports people taking antiviral precautions. These include gargling twice a day with antiseptic mouthwash and ivermectin.

The gargling makes sense because these cold and flu viruses enter your body primarily through your mouth or nose. If you can kill them before they incubate and travel down your air passageways into your lungs, you have a much greater chance of mild symptoms and better health outcomes.

Ivermectin

The “I” in the FLCCC’s recommended protocol is ivermectin. It has been safely used for decades, with roughly 4 billion doses administered globally. Yet there has been a huge battle by the government and the drug companies to keep citizens from using ivermectin.

“Many of those compounds are repurposed,” Kory said. “You know why? Because when this disease hit, there’s a lot of smart doctors, a lot of investigators who just started studying what they had available, instead of sitting around waiting till people turn blue.”

Nature magazine recently reported on repurposed drugs and compounds. “Given the high attrition rates, substantial costs and slow pace of new drug discovery and development, repurposing of ‘old’ drugs to treat both common and rare diseases is increasingly becoming an attractive proposition because it involves the use of de-risked compounds, with potentially lower overall development costs and shorter development timelines.”

There is a new report showing 71 studies demonstrate the effectiveness of ivermectin for both prevention and aiding patients in the recovery from COVID-19 sickness. The Meta analysis using the most serious outcome shows 66 percent and 83 percent improvement for early treatment and prophylaxis. The studies had over 50,000 patients.

Dr. Pierre Kory has been a leading advocate of using repurposed drugs and treatments in the battle against COVID-19. He shares a new metadata study with 71 studies and over 50,000 people. It shows excellent results for ivermectin in preventing sickness and improving recovery from COVID sickness. Video courtesy FLCCC Alliance

While many treatments have some level of efficacy, they do not replace vaccines and other measures to avoid infection, the analysis reports. Only 25 percent of ivermectin studies show zero events in the treatment arm. Multiple treatments are typically used in combination, which may be significantly more effective.

The greatest benefit appears to be an 83 percent improvement for people who took ivermectin prophylactically to improve their immune system’s chances of battling the virus should they encounter it.

The FLCCC Alliance originally recommended one dose per week of the ivermectin. Because of the highly contagious nature of the Delta variant of COVID-19, they increased their recommendation to twice per week, and suggested it be taken with a meal.

The amount you take is based on your weight – 0.2 mg per kg of weight. The conversion factor is 2.2 pounds per kg. A 132 pound person would take 12 mg; a 165 pound person would take 15 mg; and a 200 pound person would take an 18 mg dose.

The FLCCC is currently reviewing data regarding the Omicron variant to see if they need to adjust any of their treatments to offer better protection against this variant. Early reports indicate the symptoms are much more mild than the Delta variant. However it appears Omicron can be transmitted to others much more easily than either Delta or the original COVID-19 virus.

As always, they recommend you consult with your healthcare professional regarding any and all treatments, especially if you have preexisting conditions that add to your health risks.

Nigella saliva is a fascinating alternative to ivermectin because it’s so easy to come by. Also known as black cumin seed, nigella sativa can be purchased at Indian grocery stores in the spice section. Local health food stores also sell black seed oil capsules, which are a concentrated version of nigella saliva.

Love seeing this information! We have been doing the vitamin regimen and have the black cumin seed oil on hand as well. Unfortunately Drs are not “allowed” to prescribe the treatment ivermectin and if they do the pharmacies are “not allowed to fill” because it’s not “proven treatment”. Personal story with at least 8 pharmacies in our area. Unfortunate and criminal they are denying people treatment. But if there was a treatment then they couldn’t push fear and vaccine right?

Probably because the makers of ivermectin, Merck (7th largest pharma company in the US), actively recommend against using it for treatment/prevention of covid. What would they know about it though? And why would they turn down those profits? Make it make sense Jen!

Merck would hardly make any profits , since the compound can be produced by any old pharma company. Plus, why would Merck endorse their cheap compound ivm when it has a new, much more expensive drug in the pipeline? Hmm?

Money is money Linda, you don’t see CEOs actively trying not to make more money. This article is literally an ad for selling Ivermectin as Ron correctly notes below. Don’t be a sheep, but do be thankful that you live in a country that gives you free protection against a disease that has killed millions around the world. Even trump was smart enough to get the vax and booster!

They’ve already shown their hand. Merck just released a new drug (essentially IVM revamped for COVID) it sells for about 700 USD a dose. Ivermectin is 10USD a dose when you pay top dollar for it so yes, they did bash IVM to make money on their future “products” and profits would suffer if people understood IVM is as good or better than their new expensive drugs.

The vaccines only cost like $20 per shot and that’s on the higher end of it. With three shots throughout the year, that’s still way less than the ivermectin regime described in this article. At this point, drugs for treatment are primarily for the unvaccinated since all the vaccines reduce the severity of infection. Ivermectin is still totally unproven in a clinical setting to have any benefit in fighting covid before or after. If it isn’t coming from Merck, it’s just going come from some other pharma company out there who’s making money. The vaccines are the least beneficial option from a business standpoint.

This site offers ivermectin in 12 mg tablets for $1.67 per pill. FYI.

That would equate to $174 per year, if you’re taking two tablets per week.

So John, (please confirm if you are the author of this article) are you confirming that this article is, in fact, an ad for ivermectin? In addition, the link to the ivermectin “metadata studies” has been debunked by reputable sources as fatally flawed in its analysis. Ivermectin is still not proven to provide any benefit in fighting against covid. Don’t you know how to do proper research? Oh right, you’re a retired airline pilot, NOT a scientist!

It makes perfect sense Jen . Ivermectin is off patent and is cheap and made all over the world. There is no profit in it for Merck anymore. They will soon come out with their own new brand name drug for covid 19 . It will be a profit center for Merck . Pfizer also coming out with Paxlovid . Let’s just call it Pfizermectin.

Merck will not make money on Ivermectin. It is off-patent and very inexpensive.

The new medicines coming out are very expensive!

If there had been an approved treatment available, the vaccines would not have gotten emergency use authorization. There were/are treatments! But they are inexpensive and most are readily available. The drug companies, government agencies, social media, etc. are censoring the truth. I don’t know how they sleep at night!

The evidence for the treatments in this article have proven they work around the world. Go to flccc.net for more info.

Thank you for this excellent summary of early treatment.

I am attaching a recent video by Dr. Peter McCullough where he talks about early treatment to a host from Australia. He mentions a doctor in South Africa who was denied by the government to use Ivermectin or Hydroxy chlorine but found alternatives. Peter says that “there are almost to many good alternative treatments.”

https://rumble.com/vj0o8p-how-and-why-has-early-treatment-been-supressed-and-censored-dr.-peter-mccul.html

As time goes on, the suppression of early treatment by the “health care” profession moves into the category of criminal behavior.

I am sending this article to friends as a summary of early treatments and/or treatments to begin as soon as you have a cold and take it is a warning for covid. Pierre Kory at flccc.net made this point in last week’s update.

Anyone can enter information into VAERS, they literally state that on the website so that info is dubious at best. Even if true, 20,000/203,000,000=0.0000985 deaths per person vaccinated which is so far below the 806,000/51,100,000=0.158 deaths per covid case so far. Quit living in irrational fear, get vaccinated.

Uh, you do know people who get the vaccines still get covid! They still spread it, too. Cruise ships full of fully-vaccinated people are getting covid!

Dr. Kory said there is no perfect treatment or vaccine. He got the vaccines also, and still got sick. These protocols help you get over Covid faster, if you do get it.

Several countries are using these protocols widely, many with low vax rates, and have very low Covid cases after using them. Uttar Pradesh in India is basically Covid-free!

When you can explain what the vaccine does, and what that in turn does to your body, then maybe you can have a say. You do not even know what it costs and how many thousands of people the vaccine killed already. Do you? There is a term called “useful idiot”, where people market to people’s emotions so they act without logic or knowledge.

Your posts lack logic and knowledge. And everyone knows it but you.

This was NOT about vaccines. It was about proactive treatment to prevent illness and further illness. Vaccinated should be following this proactive approach too. There are only 2 types of people to compare, early treatment preventative and the ones who wait and see while virus replicates. The facts are the wait and see people are the ones in hospitals and morgues regardless of vaccine status. By what you commented you are spreading propaganda to lure people into a false sense of security with only their vaccination status. Every person needs to know these protocols and be proactive with their health at the first sign of anything.

But it is when you think about it. As the data has showed all across the world, the most proactive way to prepare your immune system to fight covid is by getting vaccinated. The more we allow this to spread through populations, the more chances it has to mutate into new variants. Breakthrough cases are occurring, but the vast majority of them are asymptomatic or mild. If people aren’t coughing then they aren’t spreading it as much. There is still no reputable source (including the ones linked in the article) showing that ivermectin makes any real difference in treating covid. Merck (the makers of ivermectin) even states on its website that they do not recommend its use. Why would they turn down all those sales if it was effective?

Dr. Robert Malone , a creator of the MNRA, says the jab is toxic. Also that the jab is useless against Omicron. Omicron is a very mild disease. You will never get herd immunity with the jab. The jabs will never end. There are treatments that are effective. Why does not our government bring these forward? Is it all about the $$$$$?

mRNA is a part of molecular biology so Dr. Malone did not invent it. However, a quick search shows that he has worked on mRNA research, as have hundreds of others, to create the vaccines that we have today. Omicron was mild in SA where the population is much younger, it’s only been detected elsewhere for a few weeks and is already putting pressure on hospitals in Europe, hence the return of lockdowns there. One sensible thing you said is that there are treatments that are effective, however none of this snake oil mentioned in the article is clinically proven to fit that description. The best way to avoid advanced treatment is to get vaccinated. Don’t be a sheep Irene, do it for your family’s sake or else the next mask you’ll be wearing might be attached to a ventilator.

They would not make any money on off-patent, inexpensive drugs like Ivermectin. Anyone else can make it. They want to make money on the very lucrative vaccines and who-knows-how-many boosters!

Vaccines will NOT help you when you are sick or in the hospital. TREATMENTS are what works in those situations.

Also, natural immunity after getting the virus is more robust than the vaccines.

Please go to flccc.net to check out the actual facts and data. Read this article, too. It sounds like you may have missed a lot.

I used a telemed that a friend used, but by the time I got a call it was three days later and then another day to get the prescription and then 1 more day to get to my house. So my treatment was on day 9. They dosed me the same as my wife at 12mg for 3 days which sort of worked fast but did not kill it. So on day 12 after my last dose, I called again and the line was so long due to Omicron and supply and demand issues to get a hold of these wonderful sources that I took a different step.

So I know where pet supply houses use injection forms for farm animals, and so I bought a 50ml 1% solution for $34. You just add it to water or juice or in my case, protein drink.

1ml of that is 10mg of Ivermectin and that’s good for an early dose of 110lb person. But I dosed to double that of my 165lb bodyweight and use 1.5ml*2 for 30mg dose.

The reason is that since the initial course I took was too little too late, I doubled the dose per FLD recommendation for “exposure to someone with Covid” which is 0.4kg/kg. So 0.4*75kg = 30mg dose.

And dang in 24 hours, I felt sooo much better.

The telemed sent me 3 days at ~.16mg/kg for my bodyweight which knocked my fever from 103F to 100.4F over 3 day course. But then it stayed at that level. I was needing albuterol two puffs every 2 hours to breath!

So I got a hold of cattle/swine injectable and used that to drink at a level of 0.4mg/kg body weight and in 12hours my temperature went to 98.5F. I’m on day two of this dose regimen and now my lungs are 80% better. I am now at 2 puffs every 4 hours and the breathing is much better.

I hope to taper to zero albuterol in a day or two.

It’s terrible that in our USA and in the world, that cheap excellent treatment and information is being blocked and treated as “dangerous misinformation” by literal useful idiots at high tech social media and our news. We know it’s driven through the tyrannical overlords that profit when they can force us to pay for expensive dangerous treatments! This gotta stop!
