

The suspect assaulted a restaurant employee before bystanders intervened
On Thursday (Feb. 9) at about 7:40 p.m., Battle Ground Police officers were dispatched to the Chipotle restaurant, located on SW Scotton Way, for the report of an assault.
Initial reports indicate that Chipotle staff asked the suspect to leave after causing a disturbance. The suspect then assaulted one of the restaurant employees before bystanders intervened. The suspect then fled the scene in a white midsize SUV, similar to an Infiniti model, prior to police arrival.
The Battle Ground Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this subject. The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 6-foot tall, 220 pounds, with a goatee style beard.
