Alysha Evelyn Chandra, a lifelong Clark County resident, career prosecutor, and Judge Advocate General officer in the Washington Army National Guard, has officially launched her campaign for Clark County prosecutor.

Chandra has spent the past decade prosecuting some of the toughest cases, including gang crimes, child sexual abuse, and prison riots. She has also led in therapeutic courts and early case resolution programs where rehabilitation made sense, saving taxpayer money and reducing repeat crime. In addition to her civilian work, Chandra has prosecuted cases in military courts, bringing multi-jurisdictional experience and proven leadership to the role.

“My campaign theme, Justice Demands Action, reflects both my record and my vision,” Chandra said. “That means accountability for offenders, smart rehabilitation that works, and a justice system that puts victims and families first.”

Chandra says the Kirkland Warren case revealed the consequences of failed leadership.

“I pushed for GPS monitoring in that case, and it was granted. But county leaders later dismissed the charges before Arkansas prosecutors could act. That hesitation and political decision cost lives. Families in Clark County deserve leadership that acts with urgency.”

If elected, Chandra pledges to restore trust and deliver a balanced approach to justice. Her priorities include:

  • Protecting victims and families through strong prosecution of violent and repeat offenders
  • Expanding early case resolution and therapeutic courts when appropriate to save taxpayer dollars and reduce recidivism
  • Prosecuting cases across both civilian and military courts, with experience in multiple jurisdictions
  • Ensuring law enforcement and community outreach efforts are supported and respected
  • Leading with transparency, accountability, and integrity

“Safety and respect are not partisan. Both are achievable and both are owed to the people of this county,” Chandra said.

Alysha Chandra should NOT be elected for prosecutor position.

Alysha claims to ensure community outreach is supported and respected couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Alysha supports police detectives who falsify court documents, fabricate fake police reports against people who make legitimate complaints against police.

Alysha has and will continue to waist Clark County tax money.

Alysha allows prosecution after she personally determines there is no probable cause, just because a detective wants revenge because of a complaint.

Alysha is NOT fair, and will abuse the system for law enforcement’s personal gain.

Alysha Chandra should not be elected she is a poor choice for a candidate, she lie’s, harasses people for no reason.

She is so incompetent she tried to prosecute me with a false police report that McCollum Baker and sarate filed..
I was forced to wear GPS for over a month and then the charges were dropped because they were a lie! My perpetrators have a long long history of lying and now it finally came out that McCollum is guilty of sexual harassment.

My three perpetrators were found guilty of hostile workplace 7/2023 by the judge at office of administrative hearing when they disputed my unemployment and I was without funds for a year because of these liars and these harassers
