
The 18th District lawmakers will take questions and discuss their priorities for the 60-day session at the state Capitol
Sen. Ann Rivers, Rep. Stephanie McClintock and Rep. Greg Cheney will hold two town halls this Saturday, two days ahead of the start of the 2024 legislative session. The 18th District lawmakers will take questions and discuss their priorities for the 60-day session at the state Capitol.
Starting times and locations are:
- 10 a.m. – Battle Ground City Hall, 109 SW 1st Street
- 12:30 p.m. – WSU Vancouver: Dengerink Building, Room 110 Lecture Hall (VDEN 110)
Cheney, R-Battle Ground, is the ranking Republican member on the House State Government and Tribal Relations Committee. He also serves on the Capital Budget, Civil Rights and Judiciary, and Regulated Substances and Gaming committees.
McClintock, R-Vancouver, is the assistant ranking Republican member on the House Capital Budget Committee. She also serves on the Consumer Protection and Business, and Education committees.
Rivers is the ranking Republican on the Senate Health and Long-Term Care Committee and a member of the Senate Ways and Means Committee, where she is assistant ranking Republican for the capital budget. The La Center lawmaker also serves on the Housing and Rules committees.
