Vancouver Clinic purchases land for clinic off 192nd Avenue, north of SR 14

This location will make clinic number eight

VANCOUVER — Vancouver Clinic plans to build its newest clinic on 4.41 acres recently purchased in the Columbia Palisades development, on the edge of Camas in East Vancouver.

“As we complete construction on our Ridgefield clinic, it’s time for us to look east as Clark County continues to grow,” said Mark Mantei, chief executive officer. “We have served the Clark County community for over 80 years and we want to continue expanding our locations to provide the very best care close to where people live and work.”

Vancouver Clinic plans to build its newest clinic on 4.41 acres recently purchased in the Columbia Palisades development, on the edge of Camas in East Vancouver.

This location will make clinic number eight. In addition to Ridgefield, opening Aug. 5, 2019, other locations include: Washougal, Columbia Tech Center, 87th Avenue, Salmon Creek, Vancouver Plaza and Battle Ground.

“This new Columbia Palisades location has easy access to SR 14 and will allow us to expand access to primary care and add a new vision center,” said Dr. Alfred Seekamp, chief medical officer. “We have a thriving vision center in Salmon Creek and our other locations simply do not have the room for expansion.”

The project is anticipated to break ground later this year, with an opening date in 2021. Phase 1 will have two floors with approximately 26,400 square feet for Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Lab and Imaging.

Phase 2 has the potential to expand the building for an additional 30,000 square feet of clinical space. Currently, there is no estimated timeline for Phase 2.
