Closure, due to software upgrade, will take place Jan. 28-29
BATTLE GROUND — The city of Battle Ground’s Community Development and Engineering offices, including the Permit Center, will be closed on Monday & Tuesday, January 28 and 29. Building inspection services will continue during the closure, but will be limited to a 2-hour window each day.
During the closure, staff will be transitioning to the first phase of a new and improved permitting software program. The new program is designed to better serve customers by streamlining processes and, in a future phase, provide a convenient, easy-to-use online interface for customers.
The offices will reopen on Wednesday, January 30 with the new program in place. While we expect a smooth transition, we ask for the public’s patience as we use the new system in real-life, practical applications.
The program upgrade supports the city’s goal of using technology to increase efficiencies and improve the delivery of service.
