On Wednesday, WSDOT’s maintenance crew will close the left lane of northbound I-205 to repair sections of the damaged guardrail

VANCOUVER – Travelers who use Interstate 205 in Clark County should plan for delays.

On Wednesday, March 4, the Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crew will close the left lane of northbound I-205 to repair sections of the damaged guardrail. Guardrails help improve safety by keeping vehicles from going off the road or crossing into oncoming traffic during a crash.

What to expect

Wednesday, March 4:

  • The left lane of northbound I-205 will close between Exit 36 for Northeast 134th Street (milepost 36) and the on-ramp to northbound I-5 (milepost 37), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • All traffic will shift to the right lane.
