The three-day free festival is set to return in August, but organizers of the Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival are hoping artists and vendors will sign up soon
It is never too early to get ready for one of the top summer events in Vancouver.
The 2026 Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival (VMAF) has opened its call for proposals for art vendors, community stage performers, food vendors, and visual artists.
Produced in partnership with the City of Vancouver, the three-day, free, multidisciplinary festival will take place Aug. 7-9 in downtown Vancouver.
To continue to make the event special, though, organizers need help today in getting the word out to all those interested in participating.
The Vancouver Arts & Music Festival is accepting submissions through its website, at vancouverartsandmusicfestival.com/get-involved/.

In just four years, VAMF has established itself as Vancouver’s signature cultural event, bringing together music, dance, visual art, and interactive experiences performed and presented by artists who reflect the many cultures, stories, and creative voices that shape the region. The 2025 event was named Southwest Washington Event of the Year by the Washington Festivals and Events Association.
The festival has grown to feature more than 60 performances across multiple stages. Its Festival Art Exhibit showcases hundreds of visual artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, and the fun continues with family activities, street performances, and a wide range of food and art vendors.
Each evening culminates with a free VSO-USA concert held at historic Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. Friday, August 7, will be a themed “Family Day,” and the festival will offer a free screening of Disney’s Fantasia (1940).
