The Clark County Republican Women will host a First Responders Dinner event on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Battle Ground Community Center, located at 912 East Main Street in Battle Ground. The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature the following keynote speakers:
- John Horch, Clark County sheriff
- Dennis Flynn, Battle Ground chief of police
- Roy Rhine, fire commissioner-Clark County Fire District 5
- Joe Desrochers, operations officer CCSO Search & Rescue
- and Rafferty The Dog (officials say the comfort dog program gives deputies another option to increase positive interactions involving kids or adults to reduce anxiety and break down emotional barriers)
