Area voters will have the opportunity to meet and greet Clark County Republican Party-endorsed candidates at an event scheduled for Sunday (July 27) at the Battle Ground Event Center, located at 912 E. Main Street in Battle Ground.

Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow Republicans and learn more about the CCRP-endorsed candidates for the Clark County Charter Review Commission on the November general election.
Voting is now underway for the Aug. 5 special election, but it’s the November general election when Clark County voters will again be tasked with electing 15 area residents to form the next commission to review the Clark County Home Rule Charter, approved by voters in 2014. The county is required to form a commission at least once every five years to review the Charter. Three members are elected from each of the county’s five districts.
Recently, Reform Clark County Founder Rob Anderson made an informational video that he shared on Facebook, encouraging area voters to get engaged on the Charter Review Commission process.
