Clark County Today pauses in solemn reflection to honor the courageous men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day offers us an opportunity to remember not just their sacrifice, but the values they upheld and the freedoms they defended. As families gather and communities come together, we are reminded of the words from John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” May we never forget the debt of gratitude we owe to those who paid the ultimate price, and may we strive to live lives worthy of their selfless service.
