The fire appeared to have originated from one vehicle before spreading to other vehicles in the area
On Monday (Dec. 26) at about 3 a.m., Battle Ground Police and Clark County Fire District 3 responded to an apartment complex in the 600 block of NW 20th Avenue, for a reported fire. Upon arrival, Fire District 3 personnel identified multiple vehicles on fire which they were able to safely extinguish. The fire appeared to have originated from one vehicle before spreading to other vehicles in the area.
Evidence at the scene indicates that the fire may have been intentionally set. The Battle Ground Police Department and the Battle Ground Fire Marshal’s Office continue to investigate this incident and are seeking any information the public may be able to provide.
