VANCOUVER – Volunteers on the Clark County Arts Commission recently updated their website creating a one-stop site to find all events involving visual and performing arts throughout the county. The update also includes an interactive map showing various performing and visual arts venues.
Arts Commission board members encourage community members to submit their art events to be included on the website using the contact feature at https://www.clarkcountyartscommission.com/.
“We are really excited to promote events throughout the county that celebrate the talented artists in our community,” said Commission Chair Deborah Nagnano.
In addition to art event information, the website also has information on calls for art for upcoming shows as well as commission members, vacant positions and meeting agendas and minutes.
Commission extends nomination deadline for 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award
Art news and announcements also are available on the website. One such announcement is that the commission recently extended the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award nomination deadline to Nov. 30.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an artist, arts educator, or arts advocate who lives or works in the county and has made a significant contribution to local arts and culture. Individuals or groups may be nominated. Find eligibility requirements and a nomination form on the Arts Commission website.
