A 22-year-old has been arrested in connection with a Monday shooting in Vancouver.
Monday (Aug. 1) night at about 1:38 a.m. Vancouver Police responded to a collision near 1504 NE 138th Ave. Officers arrived and found a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled over. The victims in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The victims stated they were chased by the suspect from the shooting Monday on E. 35th St. in Vancouver. The suspect vehicle was located and the suspect fled on foot from officers. Containment was set and the suspect was taken into custody near the 13000 block of NE 24th Circle.
Members of the Major Crimes Neighborhood Response Team, Safe Streets Task Force and the Traffic Unit responded to process all scenes and continue the investigation.
