Ridgefield schools participate in National School Breakfast Week and celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast

Patron tour explores Battle Ground Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education programs

Today we are featuring two stories on Ridgefield schools. First, in an effort to encourage more families to take advantage of the healthy choices available with school breakfast, Ridgefield schools will celebrate National School Breakfast Week during March 6-9. Second, students at South Ridge Elementary and Union Ridge Elementary in the first grade, and their parents, celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday this past week with a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast sponsored by Beaches Restaurant.

Joanna Nicole Yorke is a 2010 graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University in Pullman.
