Mountain View Thunder had its football season come to an end with a 17-0 loss to Peninsula

VANCOUVER — The Mountain View Thunder had its football season come to an end with a 17-0 loss to Peninsula in a Class 3A state playoff game Saturday at McKenzie Stadium.

The 3A Greater St. Helens League champs ended the season with a 7-4 overall record. Peninsula, of Gig Harbor, finished second in the South Sound League this season. The Seahawks, now 10-1 on the season, advanced to the state playoffs for the 11th time in the past 12 seasons.
