Welcome back to the Clark County Today Sports Podcast.
In this episode, we salute the Camas girls basketball team. A team on a mission ever since last year’s loss in the championship game. This year? The Papermakers are state champions. We discuss this great team, and a little behind the scenes of how Clark County Today was able to produce a special video of the team celebrating that championship.
We also talk about the state tourney in general, storming the court in high school vs. college, and we get into what could be the biggest news in Clark County history: In n Out Burger is on the way!
The podcast format is simple. Tony Liberatore of Vancouver Public Schools and Cale Piland of Evergreen Public Schools give their thoughts, along with Clark County Today reporter Paul Valencia. Liberatore and Piland are longtime sports administrators. And Valencia has been a sports reporter in the region for more than 20 years.
We lead with high school sports. Then talk college and pro, too. And usually a few light items beyond sports.
(And a clarification: I love Burgerville and appreciate its local roots. I just find In n Out Burger, and its pricing, to be better suited for me!)
