The public is invited to see new works by Camas artist Liz Pike at three different events this week. The trifecta of art begins with Thirsty ART Thursday at Pike Art Gallery on Thursday, July 6.
Pike Art Gallery is located at the corner of Birch Street and Sixth Avenue in Uptown Camas. Each Thursday night from 5-7 p.m., Pike Art Gallery stays open after hours with a live painting demonstration performed by Liz Pike and another artist, Blue Bond, whose work is also represented at Pike Art Gallery. Complimentary refreshments are served and a special 20 percent art discount is offered on Thursday evenings.
Another art reception will take place at Pike Art Gallery for First Friday Art Walk in Camas on Friday (July 7) from 5-8 p.m. with complimentary refreshments and appetizers. The public is also invited to this artist reception featuring brand new works of original art by Blue Bond and Liz Pike.
Pike is also one of the many featured artists this weekend at the two-day White Oak Art and Craft Festival on Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8) in Washougal from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“It’s going to be a very busy three days of art,” says Pike. “I’m proud to be part of the White Oak Art and Craft Festival for the second year in a row. And, this event is the official start of my active summer art festival season in our beautiful corner of Washington state.”

Some of Pike’s inspiration comes from the gardens at her organic Shangri-La Farm in Fern Prairie.
“My latest body of work includes many dahlias in oils on canvas. For the first time, I have more than 350 dahlias under cultivation at Shangri-La. Naturally, growing these beautiful flowers leads to painting them,” she said.
Pike has been juried into Clark County Open Studios Tour each year since 2017. Pike also shows her work at several regional art festivals including the Fern Prairie Art Fest, Washougal Art Festival, Ridgefield’s Forest Fair, Battle Ground’s Art in the Park, and Camas Vintage and Art Faire. She is a member of the Battle Ground Art Alliance, Artisans Guild of Camas, the Northwest Oil Painters Guild and Society of Washington Artists.
Blue Bond is an award-winning and nationally known portrait artist. Both Pike and Bond work predominantly in oils on canvas.
