🎧 Brush Prairie’s Adele Anaya Wins 2026 Lovis Award
Adele Anaya receives the 2026 Lovis Extraordinary Student Award for leadership, service, and community impact
BRUSH PRAIRIE — The Lovis Foundation recently recognized Adele Anaya as a recipient of the 2026 Lovis Extraordinary Student Award, honoring students who lead with kindness, compassion, creativity, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Adele is an exceptional young leader whose impact reaches far beyond her years. Whether through academics, the arts, volunteer service, or community leadership, she approaches every opportunity with purpose, determination, and heart.
Known for her curiosity and love of learning, Adele consistently challenges herself academically and pursues knowledge with enthusiasm. She is recognized not only for her intelligence, but for the way she applies her talents with humility, discipline, and a desire to grow. In addition to excelling in advanced coursework, Adele has pursued enrichment opportunities that reflect both her work ethic and passion for learning.
A gifted performer, Adele has also distinguished herself in dance, theater, and music. She has taken on lead roles in productions, developed choreography, and dedicated countless hours to strengthening her craft. Those around her describe her as someone who is driven not by recognition, but by a genuine love for creativity and excellence.
What truly sets Adele apart, however, is her commitment to serving others.
At just nine years old, Adele helped launch Tix for Tots, a nonprofit organization that helps provide families with access to experiences they may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy, including plays, museums, sporting events, and other community activities. In its first year alone, the organization helped nearly 100 families experience events together that otherwise may have been out of reach.
Adele’s dedication to community impact extends even further through her volunteer work with children, homeless outreach programs, and youth shelters. She regularly gives her time mentoring younger children, reading to them, assisting in dance classes, teaching in Sunday school, and creating spaces where others feel welcomed and valued.
She also helped choreograph and co-direct a free community Christmas production that brought together more than 200 attendees, using the arts not simply as entertainment, but as a way to create joy and connection for others.
What makes Adele extraordinary is not simply the number of accomplishments she has achieved at a young age, but the way she carries herself through each of them. Despite her many talents and successes, she remains grounded in kindness, generosity, and compassion. She actively encourages others to serve their communities and uses her voice to inspire people of all ages to become involved and make a difference.
“Adele represents the kind of leadership that creates real and lasting impact,” said Rene Eisele, Founder and President of The Lovis Foundation. “She combines creativity, intelligence, compassion, and service in a way that uplifts the people around her and strengthens her community. Her future is incredibly bright, but her impact is already being felt today.”
About the Lovis Student Awards and the Lovis Foundation
The Lovis Student Awards are presented annually by the Lovis Foundation, an Ohio based nonprofit that celebrates students who lead with empathy, resilience, and a commitment to serving others. The Foundation was created in memory of Logan Brinson, whose joyful spirit inspired its motto: “Spread Joy. Hug Often. Be Kind.”
Each year, the Foundation honors students whose actions uplift their communities in meaningful and often unseen ways. From young inventors to peer mentors, these student heroes reflect the very best of what the next generation can be. The awards provide educators and community members with a way to recognize young people who are often overlooked. There is no academic requirement, only a demonstrated commitment to making a difference.
The Lovis Extraordinary Student Award honors 5th through 8th grade students who promote kindness, compassion, and service to others.
The Lovis Hero Award recognizes 9th grade through extended services students who demonstrate resilience and determination in overcoming challenges.
