Brush Prairie resident Bob Mattila says members of our society are showing their ‘ungodliness’

Shame on all of us, the people of the formerly somewhat godly people of the United States, that we have become so ungodly and stooped so low in showing our ungodliness, that many of us are proud of our ungodliness, when we should be ashamed of ourselves.

Another example of this ungodliness is Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek proclaiming that March 10 will be, “Abortion Providers Appreciation Day.’ This is exactly the kind of thing that shows how ungodly and shameless we have become. If we were good, godly, correctly thinking people, it would be, ABORTION PROVIDERS DENUNCIATION DAY.
It is no wonder that the whole world is descending into almost complete turmoil. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy, 3:1-13, how evil times will become, “In the last days perilous times shall come”, then lists the sins that are being committed now. Verse 13 says, “Evil men shall be worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Galations, 6:7 says,”Do not be deceived, “Whatever a man plants, that he will also harvest.”
In the Old Testament, as recorded in Leviticus 18:21, “You shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech.” In chapter 20, verse 2 it says if anyone does that they are to be put to death. We are passing our children through the fire of abortion and celebrating it. Hebrews 9:27 tells us
“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.” If we do not repent of our sins and believe in Jesus, when we die and stand before God at judgement, we will be among those who are told, as recorded in Matthew 25:41, “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. May God have mercy on us, wake us up from our ungodly, sinful state, cause us to get on our knees and repent of our sins, or spend eternity, as it is recorded in Mark 9:47: “Thrown into hell fire, where their worm does not die and the fire is never quenched.”
