Letter: The Washington Board of Health is set to consider adding Gardasil injections to school requirement

Vancouver resident Amanda Ewing urges area residents to ‘join the debate’

Merck’s controversial HPV vaccine, Gardasil, is a hot topic these days and the Washington State Board of Health will be considering beginning the steps required to add HPV injections to the school required vaccination list at their Jan. 8, 2020 meeting in Tumwater, WA.

Now is your chance to join the debate in regard to mandatory injection of vaccines for our children. Many parents vaccinate but have questions about this particular vaccine. Should all students be mandated to have this shot in order to attend school? Let your voice be heard. The meeting is open to the public, and there will be time for public comment.
