I highly recommend Karen Bowerman for the District 3 position on the Clark County Council. I do this as strongly, and with as much respect and support as I can. She would be a wonderful addition to the Council, and would be a wise stabilizing voice for all of us.

I’ve met Karen Bowerman several times over the past few years and have come to have a great appreciation for her intelligence, the political views she holds, and her overall approach to life. In all situations she values doing the right thing at the moment, versus the wrong thing, even if it seems small, and even if it seems politically correct, and this is not just when it is convenient to do so.

Karen embraces truth and integrity above all else, regardless of which political side or agenda might be supported or opposed. She tells us exactly what she believes and she does what she promises. These qualities define her, and this is exactly what the people in Clark County need in all leadership positions.

Karen Bowerman has a varied and impressive background. She earned several awards and honors while attending college, including the “Distinguished Graduate” at Texan A&M, and “Honors” at Wichita State University. She has a PhD in Administration and was the Dean of the School of Business at Cal State San Bernardino. She was the successful small business owner of a financial company and understands first hand, the problems with excessive government regulations and taxes.

With over 40 years of business and public service experience behind her, she is on the right side of the most important issues for Clark County: Law & Order. Karen is as shocked and disturbed as are most of us, with the continuous riots, looting, arson and general lack of civil order going on in Portland. Without law and order, public safety goes out the window, along with many jobs, businesses, and emotional wellbeing. She strongly believes in the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, and in their declaration of our unalienable rights.

Jobs: Karen knows that a strong, job-based economy is critical to the economic strength of each individual family. Over the years, she has assisted many small businesses to succeed, and knows how important even a little outside help is for them.

The Economy: Right now, many businesses are struggling against the ill-advised Covid lockdown and the wrong-headed dictatorial overreach of our governor. She understands very well, that the best way to a full recovery is by applying free market principles.

Taxes: With so many people and businesses, struggling in this government created panic economy, Karen knows that raising any taxes will be very damaging to all of us – except those bureaucrats who live off our taxes.

Government: Karen not only intellectually understands our Founding Documents, but also the reasons behind most of them. She is fully aware that they are NOT flexible and change with the times, like so many ill-informed people claim. She knows that our form of government is unique in the history of the world, and we must hold fast to our founding principles.

In summary, Karen is one of the most qualified persons for a position on the Clark County Council to come forward for many years. This is a job which requires, honesty, transparency, integrity, compassion, and intelligence, all of which she has in abundance.
