Vancouver Police seek public’s health to identify assault and robbery suspects


Two males in their 20’s assaulted a man walking in his neighborhood on July 1

VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects who are accused in a recent assault and robbery incident.

On July 1, at about 6:30 a.m., two males approached a 60-year-old man who was walking through his neighborhood in the 1300 block of NE 145th Avenue. One of the suspects produced a knife and they demanded items of value from the victim. Photo courtesy of Vancouver Police Department

On July 1, at about 6:30 a.m., two males approached a 60-year-old man who was walking through his neighborhood in the 1300 block of NE 145th Avenue.  One of the suspects produced a knife and they demanded items of value from the victim.

The victim attempted to run away but the suspects pursued him till he fell to the ground and by physical force and threat of harm, stole his property.

The suspects were described as males in their 20’s, 5-foot-10 with thin builds. A nearby surveillance camera captured images of the suspects and their vehicle.
