Vancouver Police investigating shooting

Therron D. Pittman, 45, was found deceased in front of a Vancouver residence

VANCOUVER – Members of the Vancouver Police Department are investigating a shooting that took place early Monday morning.

On Monday (May 31) at about 5:25 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the 200 block of E. 27th Street for the report of gunshots in the area. When officers and emergency medical personnel arrived, they located an adult male in front of a residence, deceased.

On Friday (June 4), the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 45-year-old Therron D. Pittman. The cause of death was listed as multiple gun shot wounds to the chest.

The Vancouver Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating. At this time, it is unknown what precipitated the shooting.
