Both the victim and the suspect are adult males

On Friday (March 4) at about 7:50 a.m., multiple Vancouver Police, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington State Patrol units responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon at the OnTrac distribution company’s warehouse, located at the 3600 block of NW 32nd Ave in Vancouver. 

Multiple callers reported that a shooting had just occurred at the location.  Arriving police units located the victim inside the warehouse.  The victim was injured from a possible gunshot wound.  Officers also located and detained an adult male who was identified as the suspect in this incident.

The victim was rendered aid and subsequently transported to an area hospital by rescue ambulance.  As of the time of this report the victim was in critical condition and in surgery.

Both the victim and the suspect are adult males.  Their identities are not being released at this point in time. 

Vancouver Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit detectives have taken over the investigation which is currently active.

Investigators did establish that this incident involved two individuals only.  There are no outstanding suspects or firearms and there are no known reasons to believe that there is any danger to the public in reference to this incident.
