Vancouver man identified as victim in Portland homicide


Jacob T. Dreyer was the victim of a shooting in a parking garage on Saturday

A Vancouver man has been identified as the victim of a shooting in the Lloyd District Neighborhood in Portland. 

The victim from Saturday night’s homicide was 38-year-old Jacob T. Dreyer, of Vancouver.

On Saturday (Feb. 26) at 7:12 p.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in a parking garage in the 1000 block of Northeast 2nd Avenue. When officers arrived they found a male victim deceased.

No suspect information is being released and no arrests have been made.

Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit Detectives responded to investigate. During the investigation, Northeast 2nd Avenue was closed between Northeast Multnomah Street and Northeast Holladay Street.
