
A single-story house and three cars were fully involved in a fire that was threatening surrounding structures
On Wednesday (April 19) at 9:16 a.m., Vancouver Fire Department units were dispatched to a reported house fire at 10712 N.E. 81st Way. It was reported to responding crews that a house and three cars were on fire with possible extension to surrounding structures.
First-arriving units arrived within five minutes of dispatch and found a single-story house and three cars fully involved in fire which was threatening surrounding structures. In total, six fire engines, one ladder truck and two battalion chiefs with a total of 24 personnel responded to the scene.
Clark County Fire District 6 assisted with the suppression of the fire. The American Red Cross was responding to the scene to assist three adults and three children who were displaced by the fire. No injuries were reported.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
