Suspects in Camas downtown burglaries taken into custody in Oregon

None of the subjects involved are believed to reside in Clark County

On Sunday (Oct. 31) four downtown Camas businesses were burglarized in the early morning hours. The businesses included Papermaker Pride, Caps N’ Taps, Camas Slices and Birch Street Lounge.

On Monday (Nov. 1) night, Marion County (Oregon) deputies were involved in a pursuit that resulted with several subjects being taken into custody for various charges. During the Marion County Sheriff’s Office investigation, evidence was uncovered related to the Camas burglaries.

None of the subjects involved in the mentioned incidents are believed to reside in Clark County.

Camas Detectives are actively working on the investigation and a request to file charges is expected to be forthcoming. No further information can be released at this time.
