We are taxed enough! High property taxes, high sales tax, and the state threw out the voted $30 registration. And I’m sure the idiots in DC will raise Federal Income tax too.
Shouldn’t the city rather try to oppose federal and state taxes? Banning your most democratically represented taxation that would ostensibly support your local needs seems like the opposite effect you’d want.

With rising fuel costs, housing and basic food it is the right decision to make. This will ensure people living in BG shop local. Its a win-win
