Ballots will be mailed starting July 15 for the Aug. 2 primary and special election
VANCOUVER ‒ The 24-hour ballot drop box located at Battle Ground City Hall and the ballot drop box at the cul-de-sac right off I-5 at the Ridgefield exit have been moved to new locations.
In Battle Ground, the ballot drop box is now located at the Battle Ground Post Office at 418 W. Main Street in Battle Ground right next to the USPS blue mailboxes.
In Ridgefield, the ballot drop box is now located at the Ridgefield Junction Park and Ride at 125 N. 65th Ave. in Ridgefield on the north side of the parking lot.
Ballot drop box locations are listed on the Clark County Elections Department website, visit clark.wa.gov/elections/ballot-deposit-locations. There is also a list of ballot drop box locations on the voting instructions found inside the ballot packet.
Ballots will be mailed starting July 15 for the Aug. 2 primary and special election. If using a ballot drop box, ballots must be deposited no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tue., Aug. 2. If you are returning your ballot by mail, mail it so it will be postmarked on or before Aug. 2. If you are returning your ballot after Wed., July 27, it is recommended you return it to one of the ballot drop boxes.
If taking your ballot inside the post office on Election Day, you must ask the clerk to postmark your ballot.
