Tom McCabe will discuss the future of government unions in Washington state at Thu., March 21 event
VANCOUVER — The Clark County Republican Women (CCRW) invite the public to attend their upcoming dinner meeting on Thu., March 21 at 6 p.m. featuring Tom McCabe, CEO of Freedom Foundation.
The dinner event will take place at Club Green Meadows, 7703 NE 72nd Avenue in Vancouver. McCabe will discuss the future of government unions in Washington state in the wake of the US Supreme Court decision Janus vs. AFSCME.
“CCRW is delighted and honored to host Tom McCabe at our upcoming dinner meeting to discuss this relevant issue that has such an impact on statewide elections here in Washington,” said Brook Pell, President of CCRW. Since the Janus ruling, the Freedom Foundation has been informing government employees through every medium imaginable that they can leave their union. In a January 2019 interview with Tom McCabe by the Oregon Transformation project, he said, “So far, more than 41,000 people have opted out of their union with our assistance. Unions are the Titanic and Janus was the iceberg.”
Advanced registration is required by Tue., March 19. Cost is $24 for CCRW members and $30 for non-members. Registration fee includes dinner. A no-host bar is also available. Register ONLINE at ClarkCountyRepublicanWomen.org. For more info, call (360) 600-6668.
