Event to be held at The Gathering Place Church in Vancouver Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m.
In order to improve communications and give constituents more voice in their local government, Councilor Michelle Belkot promised during her campaign to hold town halls with the public to better represent the needs of District 2.
These town halls are for constituents of District 2 to come and hear updates and ask questions or just be heard.
Councilor Belkot and Fire District 6 leaders will talk about and give an update focusing on the Fire District issues and take questions from District 2 constituents. Other topics that pertain to District 2 issues are welcome but the priority of questions will be given to District 2 residents.
Respect, courtesy, and open dialogue are vital paths for the community when tackling challenges in our neighborhoods.
