A woman died after a collision between two personal watercraft on Lacamas Lake.
On Thursday (Aug. 8) at about 7:11 p.m., a medical call was reported from Lacamas Lake where lifesaving efforts were being performed on a woman who had been pulled from the water following a collision between two personal watercraft. We have heard of several water-related fatal incidents this summer in the region, and it is a sober reminder for everyone to take precautions. Please operate vessels safely, wear personal flotation devices, take a boater safety class, have all the required safety equipment, be aware of others in the water, and get up to date on CPR. We appreciate the technical support from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Unit as we navigate this investigation.”
