Artstra’s Open Studios website highlights participating artists year-round and has made it easy to connect and shop for art on a local level
VANCOUVER — Artstra announced that it is participating in Artists Sunday on Nov. 28, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, spotlighting artists during the holiday shopping season.
Artist Sunday, falling between Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, is a day dedicated to encouraging consumers to shop with artists and give something special, unique, and handcrafted this holiday season. Artstra appreciates the culture artists create and their impact on our community while adding expression and beauty to our lives. Artstra is thrilled to be one of the many art organizations supporting the movement and hopes others in the community will join them.
Artstra’s Open Studios website highlights participating artists year-round and has made it easy to connect and shop for art on a local level. Under the 2021 artists directory, new to the website are category filters for “Shop online” and “Studio appointment.”
Our local galleries are also a great place to find local artists’ work year-round, where one can support a small business and an artist.
“The best part of shopping for original art is every piece is one of a kind, which makes it much more personal than buying gifts from Amazon,” says local artists and Artstra board member Jennifer Williams.
