Armed suspect robs Subway restaurant in Salmon Creek area

VANCOUVER — Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a suspect who was allegedly armed and robbed a Subway restaurant yesterday morning at 910 Tenney Road in Salmon Creek.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, about five-feet, five-inches tall, heavy-set build, wearing a baseball cap, dark jacket and dark pants, carrying a black valise, armed with a handgun.

At approximately 8:16 a.m. on Tue., March 28, the described suspect entered the Subway restaurant at 910 Tenney Road, displayed a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect left on foot. A canine tracking dog attempted to track the path of the suspect’s escape.

The suspect was not found.
