New director with Hearthstone Homes NW has been building homes in the area for the past 20 years
VANCOUVER – The Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) is delighted to announce its newest Board Member, Justin Wood of Clark County-based Hearthstone Homes NW and Portland-based Seven Peaks Homes.
Justin Wood has been building homes in the Portland Metro area for more than 20 years. The bulk of his career has been in Portland, where he specializes in infill development. Recently Justin has expanded to Clark County, both with his company Seven Peaks Homes and his partnership in Hearthstone Homes NW. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Builders and the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland. Justin is also the immediate Past President of the Oregon Home Builders Association.
BIA President Dave Myllymaki welcomed Justin to the Board of Directors on April 13 by stating, “Justin has a breadth of experience in the homebuilding industry and he will be a fantastic addition to the Board of Directors. We look forward to working with him on many issues such as improving permitting timelines throughout Clark County in an effort to reduce construction timelines and improve housing affordability.”
Justin is a Clark County native and graduate of Battle Ground High School. He is also the past President of the Clark County Walk & Knock Food Drive, America’s largest one-day volunteer food drive.
Sweethearts since high school, Justin and his wife Cara have been married for 21 years. His daughters Lindsay and Allison keep them busy and on their toes. Justin also enjoys golf, vacationing, skiing, and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.
