The Noxious Weed Control Board meets four times a year
VANCOUVER — Clark County is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on a five-person board that advises the Clark County Council on controlling noxious weeds. The position is completing a term that will expire Dec. 31, 2020.
Board members serve four-year terms. Upon expiration of a term, a member can apply to serve again. There is no limit on how many terms a member can serve.
The Noxious Weed Control Board meets four times a year, usually on a Monday morning at the 78th Street Operations Center, 4700 NE 78th St.
Applicants for the open position must live in District 2, which is bounded by Northeast 99th Street on the north, the Clark/Skamania county line on the east, the Columbia River on the south and Northeast 50th Avenue on the west. Volunteers actively engaged in farming or ranching, including growing Christmas trees, hay or grapes or raising cattle or other livestock in the east Vancouver, Camas, Washougal and south Hockinson areas are encouraged to apply.

Applications must be submitted to the Weed Board, 4700 NE 78th, St., Vancouver, WA 98665, no later than 5 p.m. Tue., April 30.
