Clark County Historical Museum will offer free admission to educators and support staff on May 12 in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day

VANCOUVER — Educators and school support staff will have the opportunity to visit the Clark County Historical Museum at no cost on Sat., May 12.

The museum is offering free admission from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Day, which is actually on May 8.

“We support teachers by offering workshops and resources throughout the year that are designed to help strengthen education and research programs,” Clark County Historical Museum Executive Director Brad Richardson. “We’re happy to host this appreciation day as another way to show our commitment to schools everywhere.”

The museum is also planning to provide participants a chance to win a free Clark County Historical Museum membership as a giveaway during the event.

Educators and support staff must show a valid ID or recent pay stub in order to get in for free. There’s a limit of one free admission per person.
