Construction on homes to begin for event to be held at Magnolia Heights in Washougal
WASHOUGAL — The Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) announced this week that this year’s NW Natural Parade of Homes presented by DeWils and HomeStreet Bank will be located at a new Washougal area building site named Magnolia Heights.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the homes took place Wednesday (Feb. 5), featuring the builders, local dignitaries, sponsors and BIA members, www.ClarkCountyParadeofHomes.com
NW Natural is the returning title sponsor for this year’s event and will feature luxury homes with gas heating and gas amenities – both inside and outside the homes. The event will also welcome back DeWils and HomeStreet Bank as presenting sponsors for the 2020 show. Builders featured (at this time) in this year’s show include: Glavin Homes, Affinity Homes, Doriot Construction, Waverly Homes, and Marnella Homes. Waverly Homes is the developer.
Home prices are projected to range from under a million to $1.3 million in price and expect to see homes with square footages in the 2,500 to almost 4,000 range.
“You will see fine craftsmanship, innovative and thoughtful design, and of course fresh décor ideas by some of the Building Industry Association’s top designers and builders. We are excited to be in the Washougal area this year,” said Avaly Scarpelli, executive director for the BIA.
The NW Natural Parade of Homes is produced by the Building Industry Association of Clark County. For the past 43 years SW Washington’s premier home show has become an annual tradition for families, couples and everyone looking for innovative ideas for building, remodeling, landscaping and the latest interior design trends.
