VANCOUVER — Downtown Vancouver is welcoming Minari Market, the latest business to open along Main Street and one of several new businesses choosing to invest in the corridor during the Main Street Promise initiative. The new Asian marketplace and interactive instant ramen experience officially opens Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 1-8 p.m. The marketplace is located at 808 Main Street Vancouver, WA 98660.

Minari Market introduces a fresh marketplace concept to Downtown Vancouver, blending an Asian retail market with a customizable instant ramen bar inspired by Korean convenience stores. Customers can build their own ramen experience by selecting their favorite noodles, toppings, snacks, and drinks before cooking their meal in specialized induction cookers in under four minutes and enjoying it in Minari’s seating area.

The market will also feature canned beverages, Asian breads, mochi, snacks, candy, stationery, stickers, dishware, grab-and-go foods, and house-made onigiri (Japanese rice balls) with flavors including tuna mayo, shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, and seaweed salad with pickled radish. Vegan and spicy options will also be available, with fresh kimbap (Korean sushi rolls) planned for a future addition.

“The idea came from late night cravings with my brother. No matter the hour, our great grandma would make us ramen from her always stocked pantry. It was her simple way of showing love to us,” said the owner of Minari Market, Leah Pluard.

As momentum continues along the Main Street corridor, Minari Market represents another unique small business helping shape Downtown Vancouver’s evolving retail and dining scene during a transformational period for the district.
