Pomeroy Farm’s Pumpkin Lane open this month

No hayride will be offered but annual event will take place

Want to meet Beethoven?

How about Jimi Hendrix?

Well, in a way, you can do just that at Pumpkin Lane at Pomeroy Farm.

Every year, the farm has new pumpkin people to view on its Pumpkin Lane. There is no hayride this year to see musicians, Disney characters, sports fans, and superheroes, but families can ride in their own vehicles along the lane.

It is a new way to celebrate an old tradition at the farm in Yacolt.

Then, after touring Pumpkin Lane, pumpkins will be on display ready for guests to pick out and buy. That is another change. No gathering at the pumpkin patch this year.

The changes, necessary due to the pandemic, still allow for families to enjoy an October outing in anticipation of Halloween.

Cost to drive the Pumpkin Lane is $15 per vehicle. Pumpkin prices vary depending on size and variety, naturally.
