Biokleen to host Green Business Morning Blend networking event

VANCOUVER — Local business representatives have an opportunity to learn about green cleaning product manufacturer Biokleen at a free networking event this month.

Clark County’s Green Business program is hosting its Morning Blend networking event 8-9:30 a.m. Thu., May 16 at Biokleen, 5408 N.E. 88th St. Morning Blend is an opportunity for business representatives to network, discuss green business initiatives at workplaces, and learn about solutions for reducing our environmental impact.

This month’s event will celebrate Biokleen’s 30th anniversary and will include a presentation and tour of the facility where the nontoxic home cleaning products are produced.

“Biokleen was at the forefront of green cleaning products when it was founded in 1989,” said Sarah Keirns, Public Health environmental outreach specialist. “This event will be a great opportunity to learn how they’ve carried their vision into current initiatives to decrease their environmental footprint and give back to the community.”

This free event is open to all Green Business participants and anyone who is interested in learning about the Green Business program. Space is limited to 30 people. Please register for the event at www.clarkgreenbiz.com/morning-blend/may-morning-blend.
