🎧 GRO Parade of Homes Opens Sept. 11 in Salmon Creek
The Building Industry Association of Clark County is presenting the GRO Parade of Homes with the official opening set for Sept. 11, and this one features eight luxury homes in Salmon Creek

It was months away for so long.
Now?
It is weeks away, and the rush is on to complete the final pieces.
The GRO Parade of Homes officially begins Sept. 11 and runs through Sept. 27, with eight homes being showcased in the Emerald Grove community of Salmon Creek.
Last week, workers were on properties putting finishing touches on state-of-the-art homes.
One home, though, was completed weeks ago. The owners of Pacific Coast Homes, Oleg and Alina Shtanhei, are now helping the house across the street, to ensure it is finished on time for the Parade, as well.
“Custom homes are our passion,” Alina Shtanhei said.
Pacific Coast Homes’ featured property was the first of the eight homes to be completed for this year’s Parade.
“We like to build for families,” Alina added. “Someone living here just brings us peace.”
GRO, which provides premier outdoor living spaces among its services, is the title sponsor once again for the Parade of Homes. GRO is providing the landscaping for several featured homes this year and is also creating an outdoor event center specifically for the Parade.
Garret Hergert, CEO of GRO, said he is thrilled to be part of the construction industry that is “beautifying Clark County and creating beautiful homes and spaces.”
Hergert said his family has roots in Clark County going back 115 years.
“We feel like we’re helping to build the community and making it better for everybody in it,” Hergert said.
Rachel Olin, a sales consultant for Generation Homes Northwest, said her company is fortunate to have a presold home in the Parade. She is working with the clients to design their dream home.

“We’re building somebody’s home. We’re building somebody’s legacy,” Olin said. “It’s very exciting. It’s an honor to be part of it.”
The GRO Parade of Homes is presented by the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County. The BIA is the region’s leading building industry and small business advocate. The organization’s mission is to champion and support the construction industry that builds our communities, creates jobs, and promotes economic vitality.

This year’s Parade is set on expansive 16,000 square-foot lots. The single site-experience invites visitors to explore premier architecture, intentional design, integrated smart home ecosystems, seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces, wellness-inspired amenities, and energy-efficient innovation within one walkable destination.
The GRO Parade of Homes is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., from Sept. 11 through Sept. 27. There is a special VIP opening on Sept. 10.
General admission tickets are $20 per person at goparadeofhomes.com.
A dollar from every adult ticket sold benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets for children ages 3-12 are $5, with all $5 going toward St. Jude.

VIP Night, September 10, 5-to 9 p.m.
Celebrate opening night with exclusive first access to the custom homes before the Parade opens to the public along with food, beverages, and music. VIP tickets (21 and older) are $100 for BIA members, $150 for non-members.
Industry & Design Day, September 17
Design professionals, builders, and home enthusiasts are invited to designer-led home tours with open discussions during tour hours from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Designed for Panel Discussion from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.; and an Industry Professionals White Party from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
