Now in its third year, the Washington State Patrol and Bloodworks Northwest are proud to honor Trooper Gadd’s legacy through memorial blood drives

Trooper Chris Gadd gave his life in service to the citizens of Washington state on March 2, 2024. Before joining the Washington State Patrol, he served as an EMT, where he saw firsthand the lifesaving importance of blood donation.

His commitment to helping others continues to inspire our community.

Now in its third year, the Washington State Patrol and Bloodworks Northwest are proud to honor Trooper Gadd’s legacy through memorial blood drives at Washington State Patrol headquarters in Bellevue, Marysville, Bremerton, Tacoma, Vancouver, and Olympia.

Bloodworks Northwest relies on approximately 1,000 blood donors every day to provide lifesaving blood to local hospitals and patients across the Pacific Northwest.

By donating in Trooper Gadd’s honor, you are helping ensure blood is available for those who need it most while carrying forward his legacy of service and compassion.
