🎧 Monster Trucks and Kids Day at the Clark County Fair

Thursday is Kids’ Day at the Clark County Fair, and they will be thrilled to see the first of two days of Monster Trucks

For those who celebrate, this is the day. Rather, the first of two days of celebration.

For those who believe Monster Trucks are among the greatest things invented, the Clark County Fair has got your back.

The Monster Trucks are back.

The days are different, but the enthusiasm remains.

Monster Trucks attract Monster Crowds.

Thursday also happens to be Kids Day at the fair. Children ages 7 through 12 get in for $7. (Children 6 and younger are always free.)

If they are into trucks, this is the day. There are two shows, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the grandstands arena.

In the past, Monster Trucks has packed the stands. This year, though, the Monster Trucks are Thursday and Friday, rather than the weekend. So only time will tell if that affects attendance.

No matter, it is the main event of the fair for the next two days.

According to the fair’s website, the trucks will bring stunts, freestyle runs, and car-crushing power. Plus, there will be a fire-breathing robotic T-Rex that tears apart cars. The name of the robot? Megasaurus.

Of course, there are the other staples of the fair. Rides. Food. Vendors. Acts throughout the day on the community stage. Oh, and so many animals to see, too.

A friendly reminder that the fair opens at 10 a.m., but the carnival, with its thrill rides and family fun rides, does not open until noon.

Once again, Barnyard Races and the Pirate’s Parrot Show will have several daily shows.

DogTown will be open most of the day, as well.

Tyzen the Comedy Hypnotist, Magician Adam the Great, and Professor Smart Science Show are also on the schedule.

Mars Encounters, the featured exhibit for families, is open all day, but also has three live shows throughout the day: 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.

Those are just some of the highlights for Thursday. For a full list of activities, go to the fair schedule at: https://www.clarkcofair.com/daily-schedule
