I find it strange that people who think tens of 1000s of deaths from covid are just a drop in the bucket and not a reason to change our lives.

But a handful of shootings constitute a crisis.

Why not show Portland violence over the last 20 years? It’s dropped to almost nothing, now there is a small uptick… no reason to panic and waste more taxes on security theater 🙄

The workers told her that their front window was shot out. She was told it was “kids on foot”. On local scanner and community pages multiple other shootings in the area were discussed, all happening in a 24 hour period. I have been able to find no reports, police or media, on what the outcome to all of this was??
